The last couple days in July we had an amazing sibling retreat at the National Ability Center in Park City. Siblings of individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome came together to support one another and have a blast mountain biking, playing pickle ball, doing yoga, braving a challenge course, eating good food together, and participating in a discussion group. Research has shown that siblings of individuals with PWS are at higher risk of mental health issues. Support has been shown effective in protecting siblings against this risk. We received a lot of positive feedback from the group and plan on doing it again next year!
